The sacred path of the shadow - der heilige Pfad des Schattens (Caroline Myss)

It is in our best interest to pursue the shadow in us, to do what we can to excavate it. Without a doubt it is the most challenging thing we can do; the most difficult, the most arduous path to pursue the shadow. If someone asked me to define the spiritual life in a nut shell, I would say it is the sacred path of the shadow. And that’s it. It is the sacred path, because you need every ounce of the sacred to pursue the shadow in you. It is the pursuit of the darkest part in you with the lightest light in you.

Es liegt in unserem eigenen Interesse dem Schatten in uns nachzugehen und alles daran zu setzen, ihn auszuheben. Ohne Zweifel ist es die herausforderndste Sache, die wir unternehmen können; die beschwerlichste und schwierigste. Wenn mich jemand fragte, wie ich das spirituelle Leben in Kürze definieren würde, würde ich sagen, dass es der heilige Pfad des Schattens ist. Das ist alles. Es ist ein heiliger Pfad, denn man benötigt jedes Gramm des Heiligen um sich dem eigenen Schatten zu stellen. Man stellt sich den dunkelsten Teilen mit dem hellsten Licht in sich.
