Stand in the fire - Steh im Feuer (Unmani)

When you have a longing for the truth that will not be satisfied with temporary fixes, you are ready to stand in the fire and risk losing everything. This longing is also a passion that keeps stepping into the fire, even though it is frightening, uncomfortable or unknowable. It is exhausted with compromising, and covering up the truth. It is sick of hopes and dreams that inevitably lead to disappointment after disappointment. It is willing to risk not fitting in with others, and even losing security and safety, for the sake of what is true. 

Standing in the fire of truth means losing what you think you know about yourself, and your life. It is about seeing through identity after identity, and knowing that they are all masks that cover your real identity - which is no identity. Losing more and more of who you think you are, and who you have pretended to be for so long. Free-falling in not-knowing who you are, and experiencing whatever feelings, sensations or old protection mechanisms come up to be seen in this. Everything is endlessly burnt up in this free-fall. Such an absolute devotion to the truth, that you do not move from the fire, even if it kills you. No more compromise. No more putting it off. Nothing else is more important or worth living, or even dying for. 

Standing in the fire is about courage. Not about a new courageous identity or attitude to hold on to, but real courage. This courage is actually your true nature. It is your real power when you do not buy into the assumptions that you are anything less. It is the fire of truth that you long for. In courageously following the ringing bells of truth, no matter what, you align yourself consciously with your true nature. When you courageously stand in the fire, you realise that you are, and have always been the fire itself.

Wenn du ein Sehnen nach der Wahrheit in dir vernimmst, das nicht mit kurzzeitigen Dingen und/oder Trost befriedigt werden kann, bist du bereit im Feuer zu stehen und alles zu verlieren. Diese Sehnsucht ist auch eine Leidenschaft, die immer wieder ins Feuer tritt - auch wenn es beängstigend, unangenehm oder unbekannt ist. Das Kompromisse-Schließen und Bedecken der Wahrheit hat sich erschöpft. Man hat genug von Hoffnungen und Träumen, die unvermeidlich zu einer Enttäuschung nach der anderen führen. Man ist bereit nicht zu anderen zu passen und sogar die Sicherheit zu verlieren - der Wahrheit zuliebe. 

Im Feuer zu stehen bedeutet das zu verlieren, was du über dich und dein Leben glaubst zu wissen. Es ist ein Hindurchsehen von einer Identität durch die andere und ein Wissen, dass sie alle Masken sind, die deine wahre Identität - die keine Identität ist - verbergen. Immer mehr von dem zu verlieren, was du zu sein glaubtest und so lange vorgetäuscht hast zu sein. Ein freies Fallen in ein Nicht-Wissen darüber, wer du bist und ein Erleben von jeglich aufsteigenden Gefühlen, Empfindungen oder alten Schutzmechanismen. Alles wird in diesem freien Fall verbrannt. So eine völlige Hingabe an die Wahrheit, dass du dich nicht vom Feuer fortbewegst, auch wenn es dich dabei umbringt. Keine Kompromisse mehr. Kein Verschieben mehr. Nichts ist wichtiger oder mehr  wert dafür zu leben oder auch dafür zu sterben. 

Im Feuer zu stehen bedeutet Mut. Es bedeutet nicht, eine neue, mutige Identität oder Haltung anzunehmen, es geht um wahren Mut. Dieser Mut ist in Wirklichkeit deine wahre Natur. Es ist deine wahre Kraft, wenn du nicht länger die Annahmen, weniger als das zu sein, kaufst. Es ist das Feuer der Wahrheit, wonach du dich sehnst. Indem du mutig und vorbehaltlos dem Geläute der Wahrheit folgst, richtest du dich bewusst auf deine wahre Natur aus. Wenn du mutig im Feuer stehst, erkennst du, dass du das Feuer selbst bist und immer schon warst.
